magazine submissions

HVTN Magazine is on hiatus while we focus on getting our art/poetry imprint, Interruptions, up and running.

HVTN has always been concerned with work greater than the sum of its parts, work that resists simple classification and easy escape. Lately, the magazine has sought writing that distrusts its inherited structures, or is already alienated from them, and seeks to forge a new means of expression.

Submissions are free.

In the months of January and August, please send 3 - 6 poems, or up to 3000 words of either fictional or critical prose, to haverthorn@gmail.com

Please be content with how your work may look on a standard A5 page.

Publication in the magazine qualifies you to send a book-length manuscript.
